Our Mission

The mission of Tulane GeoLatinas is to empower, embrace, and inspire Latinas and all underrepresented groups to pursue and thrive in geoscience careers. We strive to cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment which encourages diversity of experience and thought in open communication with each other. Our group encourages professional networking with the larger scientific community and scientific outreach in the local community. We aim to enhance minority participation in geosciences and related fields through scholarship, fellowship, and mentorship.
